Roots Student Ministry is all about celebrating God and making His name known! We joyfully pursue His glory by creating life‑giving opportunities for students—and their parents—to grow as deeply rooted followers of Jesus Christ.
With passion and purpose, we invite students into an exciting journey of discipleship through meaningful service, heartfelt worship, Christ‑centered teaching, impactful outreach, intentional prayer, and sharing the Gospel wherever God has placed them—at school, with friends and family, through activities, and throughout the city.

At Oakwood Baptist Youth, every lesson delivered on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights is firmly rooted in the Bible. We strive to engage students in discussions about the topic being addressed. We embrace challenging issues and ensure that our study is always a two-way conversation guided by God’s word.
