Roots Student Ministry: A Mission for God's Glory
Roots Student Ministry exists to honor and glorify God. We pursue His glory through our efforts to create opportunities that encourage students, alongside their parents, to become rooted followers of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to engage them in the journey of making disciples through service, worship, teaching, outreach, prayer, and proclaiming the Gospel where they are at in the community at school, through activities, friends & family and throughout the city!

At Oakwood Baptist Youth, every lesson delivered on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights is firmly rooted in the Bible. We strive to engage students in discussions about the topic being addressed. We embrace challenging issues and ensure that our study is always a two-way conversation guided by God’s word.
