Church,

In light of the sharp rise of COVID cases in the Kansas City area and in compliance with the new KCMO COVID mandates, we are asking for your assistance with the following directives.

1- We are asking all members to only sit in the open pews which enable us to ensure a 6' distance from all attendees in the auditorium. We have marked off these closed pews with additional tape.

2- We are asking all members to wear a mask, even when socially distanced, if physically/medically able, to limit the exposure to and potential spread of covid-19. Those unwilling to comply with this request, without reasonable cause, are asked to gather online instead.

3- We are reviewing all classrooms to seek to ensure a full 6' distancing between each seat. This may require the re-location of some classes.

4- We are asking our teachers and ministry leaders to gently reinforce these requirements within their classes and activities. Distancing and masks are not optional for church activities, except for legitimate physical/medical concerns.

5- We are shuttering Coffee Fellowship indefinitely to limit the exposure to prolonged interaction in potentially un-masked environments.

6- We encourage all members who qualify as high-risk, based on age or other underlying health issues, to strongly consider gathering virtually until this local spike in cases subsides.

7- Finally, beginning Friday, November 20, all minors (5 years and older) are now required to wear masks for all church activities and events.

Please help us by adhering to these initiatives as we work together to keep each other safe and preserve the privilege of remaining open for public gathering. None of this is pleasant or ideal, but by working together we can continue to exalt Christ, edify His Church, and expand His Kingdom in our community and beyond.

Grace,

Russ
